Neon Charades Privacy Policy
Last updated 1 September 2026
Neon Charades does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. There is no account to create, no sign in, and no server behind the game.
What the app stores
Player names, scores, game settings, and your purchase history are saved on your device only, using the operating system's standard local storage. None of it leaves your device, and none of it is visible to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app removes all of it.
Purchases
Passes are bought through Apple's In-App Purchase system on iOS and Google Play Billing on Android. The store handles the payment and shares no payment details with us. We operate no server and hold no record of what you have bought. The app asks the store what you own and works out the remaining time from that.
Analytics and tracking
There is none. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no third party tracking of any kind. It makes no network requests other than those the store's own purchase system makes on its own behalf.
This is why the App Store listing reports Data Not Collected. It is not a simplification.
Sharing a result
The share card at the end of a match is created on your device and handed to the system share sheet. Where it goes from there is entirely your choice, and we never see it.
Children
Because the app collects nothing, it collects nothing from children either. There is no messaging, no user generated content that reaches anyone else, and no way for players to contact one another through the game.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date at the top. A change that affected what the app collects would also ship with a release note in the app store listing.
