This policy explains what personal information Fluxion Interactive ("we", "us") collects through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It is written to meet our obligations under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

We do not publish an address on this site, because a published address is harvested and buried in spam within days. What we collect

Information you give us. If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject, and message you enter. We do not ask for any other personal information, and you should not send us sensitive personal information through this form.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider processes standard server and security logs, which may include your IP address, browser user agent, and the pages you request. These are used to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Cookies. This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. If spam protection is enabled on our contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived token strictly to tell people from bots.

Why we process it, and on what basis

• To reply to you. We process what you send through the contact form solely to respond to your inquiry. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you choose to submit the form.
• To keep the site working and secure. Server logs and spam protection are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a functioning, non-abused website.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Who else processes it

We use a small number of service providers ("operators" under POPIA) who process personal information on our behalf and under our instruction:

• Cloudflare hosts this website, delivers it, and (where enabled) provides bot protection.
• Resend delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
• [EMAIL PROVIDER] provides our business email.

Some of these providers operate infrastructure outside South Africa. Where personal information is transferred across borders, we rely on the provider's contractual data protection commitments.

How long we keep it

We keep contact inquiries for as long as needed to deal with the matter and to keep a record of our correspondence, and no longer than [RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 24 months] after our last exchange, unless we are required to keep it longer. Server and security logs are retained by our hosting provider according to their own schedule.

Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to:

• ask what personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct or delete information that is wrong or excessive;
• object to our processing of your information;
• withdraw consent you previously gave;
• complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe we have handled your information unlawfully.

To exercise any of these, send a request through our contact form and say which right you are relying on. We will respond within the period required by law.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS and applies a Content Security Policy. Contact form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect what you send us.
